Geology studies the structure and the evolution of the earth’s crust. Architecture is an art which comes from the earth. It intervenes on its structure, it prepares its evolution. In the course of our work, we encounter men, buildings and landscapes, each moulded by a different history and geography.It is the life of places just as the life of beings. Sometimes, the evolution is gentle, sometimes accelerated and, when necessary, it breaks the links for a better outcome.
The practice was founded in 1990. During the early years, for the most part through housing developments, we mastered all the elements of our profession; time (new buildings set in new or existing areas, the rehabilitation of historical or simply old buildings), space (the scale of development, the geography of places) and different challenges (economic, sociological, human). Since, each time due to a new encounter (a client, a place, a problem and even a material), our activity has developed and opened to new programmes: public facilities, offices, health facilities, rehabilitations, individual houses and urbanism.
We hope for hospitable projects, attentive to the travellers, that we all are, and to the ground where we tread, demanding and each time the source of new inspiration.


	La géologie étudie la structure et l’évolution de l’écorce terrestre. L’architecture lui appartient, c’est un art qui nous vient de la terre, c’est sur la structure qu’elle intervient, c’est l’évolution qu’elle prépare. Au fil de notre travail, nous avons rencontré des hommes, des bâtiments et des paysages, chaque fois pétris d’une histoire et d’une géographie différentes. Il en est de la vie des lieux comme de la vie des êtres, parfois, l’évolution est douce, parfois elle s’accélère et il faut rompre ses liens pour mieux devenir. L’agence a été créée en 1990. Les premières années, essentiellement à travers la réalisation de logements, nous ont appris toutes les échelles de notre métier, le temps (bâtiments neufs émergeant dans des lieux nouveaux ou déjà construits,restructurations de bâtiments historiques ou tout simplement anciens), l’espace (tailles des opérations, géographie des lieux), les différents enjeux (économiques, sociologiques, humains). Depuis, chaque fois grâce à une nouvelle rencontre (un maître d’ouvrage, un lieu, une problématique et parfois simplement un matériau), notre activité s’est développée et ouverte à de tout autres programmes : équipements publics, bureaux, équipements de santé, restructurations, maisons individuelles et urbanisme. Nous souhaitons nos projets hospitaliers, attentifs aux voyageurs que nous sommes tous et au sol que nous arpentons, exigeants et chaque fois source d’une vitalité nouvelle.
